GENERAL INFORMATION

WHAT TO SUBMIT

  1. Complete Application form through Long Beach Utilities Department (LBUD) Development portal, at the following link:
    FIRE FLOW TEST REQUEST FORM
  2. To request for a hydraulic model, please email water-servicecounter@lbutilities.org. Additional fees apply. See Payment Requirement.

PAYMENT REQUIREMENT:

Full payment: Please make your check payable to Long Beach Utilities Department. For applicable fees, see LB Utilities' Rules & Regulations (View Appendix A )(PDF, 868KB).

LEAD TIME & OTHER INFORMATION:

  1. The typical processing time for your fire flow test request is approximately 10-14 business days.
  2. Once the test is performed and data is gathered, LBUD will prepare your test results letter. Your test results letter will be sent to you through your chosen delivery method.
  3. The typical processing time for a hydraulic model is approximately 10 business days. This may be requested concurrently with the fire flow test.
