The Certified Blue Restaurant (CBR) program supports and recognizes the outstanding Long Beach restaurants that achieve exceptional water efficiency in our community.
WaterSense EPA has recognized that restaurants are one of the highest water-using industries, accounting for 15% of the national commercial water use. The Long Beach Utilities Department's (LBUD) CBR program aims to help restaurants conserve water by supporting water efficiency improvements, while giving local Long Beach businesses the recognition they deserve for their conservation efforts. Interested restaurants may enroll below to receive a no-cost, on-site, efficiency survey and an assessment to receive water efficiency rebates.
