New Proposed Off-Sites

Steps to Begin

  1. Complete the LBUD Water/Sewer Intake Form: This form tracks all water and sewer services needed for the project.
    Water/Sewer Intake Form(PDF, 209KB)

  2. Include the Off‑Site Water and Sewer Construction Notes: The engineer must incorporate all applicable construction notes into the plan. These notes can be reviewed and downloaded from the following Construction Notes for Off-Site Water and Sewer Plans(PDF, 530KB).

The Off-Site Utilities Plan shall include the following, but not limited to:

  1. General Notes from Off-Site Water and Sewer Construction Notes
  2. The existing water and sewer service locations to remain
  3. The proposed new potable water service location(s)
  4. The proposed irrigation water service location
  5. The proposed fireline service installation location, which will require a separate submittal
  6. The proposed new sewer lateral locations

Water service size confirmation

LBUD reviews plumbing plans for compliance with backflow requirements. Water service sizing will be confirmed during backflow plan check. The Plumbing or Mechanical Engineer must determine the peak demand and size of the service(s).

Larger Water Service Locations

Projects with no setbacks (“zero-property-line buildings”) require special attention to locate DCDA’s and water meter assemblies sized four inches and greater.
