Understanding Your Bill
Important Notices:
(1) Long Beach Utilities is experiencing a high volume of calls pertaining to MyUtility Portal, the City's new customer service portal. The new MyUtility Portal requires customers to set up a new login (both username and password) in order to access their account. If you are requesting your account number, please call 562-570-7055 on Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Thank you for your patience.
(2) Long Beach Utility Services has been made aware of additional charges to customers using Walmart to pay their utility bills. To avoid the convenience fee and potential late fee they may incur by using Walmart, we are encouraging customers to visit the several other pay stations at CVS, 711, Walgreens, Food4Less, and Ralphs for payment. Utility customers can call 562-570-5700 for questions on their bill.
The current utility rates are broken into six user categories:
- Single-family Residential
- Duplex Residential
- Multi-family Residential
- Commercial
- Industrial
- Irrigation
Long Beach Utilities' Cost of Service and Rate Study Report includes the development of potable water, recycled water and sewer rates that are both fair and consistent with Proposition 218 based on the most current industry information available.
